A most scenic view awaits members and visitors to Community
Presbyterian Church. Built atop Christian’s Hill, the sanctuary overlooks
one of Florida’s natural blessings, Orange Lake.
You are invited to visit us on Sunday, not only to see the beautiful view of
Orange Lake, but also to glorify God as we worship Jesus Christ, our
Lord and Savior.
Community Presbyterian Church is easy to find. We are located at 20098
U. S. Highway 441 North in North Marion County, a quarter mile south of
McIntosh. We are about nineteen miles north of Ocala and eighteen miles
south of Gainesville. It is a twenty to twenty-five minute drive from either
of these two cities.
The historic cities of Cross Creek and Micanopy are a short distance from
the church. The nearby communities of McIntosh, Boardman, Orange
Lake, Shiloh, Fairfield, Citra, Anthony, Flemington, Irvine, and Sparr are
all part of the country charm that make North Marion County so attractive.
Community Presbyterian Church fits well with our surroundings. The
Church is simple in design blending tastefully with our environs. The
congregation comes from all areas in North Marion County, as well as
Gainesville and Ocala.
Psalm 24:1 declares, “The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the
world and all who live in it.” Psalm 57:11 calls us to praise saying, “Be
exalted, O God, above the heavens, let your glory be over all the earth.”
Please join us on one or more Sundays to worship the Lord who created
the scenic natural beauty we enjoy and to give praise to Christ Jesus
through whom we have the gift of eternal life.
